Sweetland Associates is an independent firm of financial advisers based at Cathedral Chambers on Stow Hill in Newport. We offer jargon-free financial planning advice to people across Newport, Cardiff and the wider South Wales area.
Our approach is straightforward. You tell us about your situation and your goals, and when you want to achieve them. We develop a practical plan to help you meet them, explain it in plain English, and agree the course of action you want to take. The final decisions are always yours.
We are a small, established firm by choice. The person who plans with you is the person who knows your story and reviews your plan year after year. Many of our clients have been with us for well over a decade, and a good number first came to us through personal recommendation.

Sweetland Associates Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, register reference 744333. This is not a formality. It means we are held to strict standards of conduct and competence, and that any advice we give must be suitable for your circumstances and clearly explained.
It also means that, in the rare event something goes wrong, you have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and, where eligible, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You can check our authorisation at any time on the FCA's public register.
